Grade I-Listed Shaw House, an Elizabethan mansion set in parkland on the outskirts of Newbury is the setting for a French-style brocante in the grounds to be organised by Jackie Edwards, aka ACVR Events.

It takes place on Sunday, August 29, with around 40-plus dealers. The property is owned and managed by West Berkshire Council and the brocante came about following a proposal by ACVR to the council to hold an event in Newbury. More on this in a later issue.
