A new exhibition online and at Castlegate House Gallery in Cumbria includes this ‘punctured winged vessel’ stoneware work by Colin Pearson (1923-2007). It is priced at £3000.
The exhibition called Four Artists, Three Dimensions is focused on ceramic artists Pearson, Jason Wason (b.1946), Jim Malone (b.1946) and David Hochhauser (b.1996).
Gallery owner Steve Swallow said: “Anyone who visits Castlegate House cannot fail to have realised that alongside our passion for contemporary and 20th century British art, we have a passion for studio and contemporary ceramics.
“This exhibition continues our ethos of exhibiting artists at the peak of their careers and disciplines while also showcasing new young talent at the start of their journey.”
