Standing 11in (27cm) high, the carving (numbered 9) depicts a rodent wearing a cap and apron and holding a mallet and a lattice panel.
It has a mouse signature to the base. Part of a group of carvings put together by a lady from the north of England who began collecting in the 1970s, it will carry a guide of £2000-3000 in the 20th Century Design Sale in Leyburn.
Mouseman collectors will also be interested in a similarly sized carving of Toad of Wind in the Willows fame, dressed in a driving coat, scarf, hat, boots and goggles (estimate £2000-3000).
