The label on the back of the charger can’t be the original label from the 1890s since the Morris & Co shop on George Street was opened in 1917.

I don’t think there is anything underhand going on here. I also have a charger with the same label address on what I believe to be an earlier Chelsea period WDM charger from the 1870s.

I presume the Morris & Co shop was selling old stock through their new premises.
