This month bibliophiles are spoilt for choice – with two online fairs and one live event in London.

The PBFA Christmas Book Fair runs on Saturday, December 4, at the Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury and is co-organised by John Martin of Mayfly Ephemera and Andrew Saidi of White Eagle Books.

Martin told ATG that 50 exhibitors were expected and the co-organisers were confident that the event would be as busy as the London fair in October.

Talking about the online events, PBFA’s Jill Shipley said: “These have been very successful and will continue through 2022.

“The Christmas online fair started on November 29, running until December 28, and looks like being the most visited, as was the 2020 Christmas fair, while the post-Christmas fair starts on December 29. Many of our members now contribute to these fairs and more members of the public as well as the trade visit them.”
