Swarbrooke has a background in Impressionist, Modern British and Contemporary art and recently left the Simon Dickinson firm to pursue his own business as a dealer and in art advisory work. The exhibition in Piccadilly is the first ‘pop-up’ exhibition that he plans and will run from December 1-8.
Swarbrooke said Parczuk’s work is inspired by American Impressionists and British landscape paintings and he describes himself as a “realist impressionist”.
The exhibition will include 63 of his works, ranging from £850 to £5500. Prior to this, Parczuk has held an artist residency at Lincoln Cathedral and made commissions for several stately homes.
In the future, Swarbrooke said he plans to hold 2-3 ‘pop-up’ exhibitions a year, with the next one planned for spring 2022.
