It might not be far to go, but the new space offers 4000sq ft over three floors, two-and-a-half times the size of its former home.

The Grade II-listed building was designed by Frank Verity in 1906 and was recently redeveloped by Forme UK.

Architects Crawford and Grey have designed the interior, creating a space to display ancient and Islamic works of art, as well as objects of natural history.

It is set to open in the new year following the completion of works.
