Elwes & Coreth: Masters of Portraiture features over 20 works and runs from September 21-October 8 at the agency’s St James’s gallery in Ryder Street.

All painted over the past 100 years, subjects range from war heroes and artists to prominent social figures including members of the British royal family.

While the portraits by Elwes are all loaned from private collections including from the painter’s family, works by Coreth are available to buy including this self-portrait of the artist with a bust, priced at £18,000.

“It is a huge thrill and honour to be able to hold an exhibition of these two leaders in portraiture and to be able to see how Jamie has been inspired by his great, great uncle Simon,” said the gallery’s Sam Parker Bowles, who has curated the exhibition.
