Wick Antiques’ new showroom dedicated to maritime objects.
The former storeroom was repurposed over a three-week period during lockdown and features nailed wooden planks around the walls to give the room an ‘oceanic feel’.
Among the maritime pieces for sale is The Duke of Windsor’s racing flag from Royal Yacht Britannia (£16,500) and a pair of mirrors said to have hung in Admiral Hamond’s (1779-1862) cabin in HMS Blanche during the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801 (£14,500).
The Hampshire showroom is open to visitors from 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
