A bronze attributed to Girolamo Campagna, priced at €55,000 by Galerie Sismann.
The 20in (50cm) high bronze was made in c.1590 during the height of Campagna’s fame as a sculptor in Venice and is priced at €55,000.
Renaissance, which runs until April 30 at the gallery’s space in Paris, explores the multiple variations of Old Master sculpture between France and Italy through the works of artists such as Rossellino, Domenico Gagini, Giovanni Battista da Corbetta and Campagna.
