The collection of Omega Speedmaster chronographs offered at Veritas Art Auctioneers in Lisbon, estimated at €190,000-320,000.
This collection of newly made Speedmaster chronographs were decorated to the dials with the mission patches of the many NASA expeditions from 1957 that used the Speedy. An updated version of the 1957 watch also features among the 23 watches. A total of 50 of these special cases, completed with related literature, were produced in three different editions in 1997 and 1998.
This case, one of an edition of 40, comes for sale at Veritas Art Auctioneers in Lisbon on October 1. The estimate is €190,000-320,000.
