An Omega Speedmaster with ‘TV’ dial, sold for £2000 at Richard Winterton.
The Mark V represented a very 1970s moment in case design. Carrying the reference number 176.0014, it was made only in 1974 – and, depending on personal taste, is either the most or the least attractive of all Speedys.
This example, sold together with its box and information booklet, took £2000 at Lichfield firm Richard Winterton (20% buyer’s premium) on September 7.
