She added: “It was really busy and the weather was brilliant. We had around 460 casual outside pitches, as well as reduced Avon Hall and Wye Hall numbers due to social distancing. Visitor numbers were also busy at around 6200 and reports were good from both sides.
“We had compliments from people attending as to how well the fair was organised with regard to Covid-19 compliance. The local police turned up to check us out as well. They spent some time walking around and reported that they were quite happy with the event and had no cause for concern.”
