The Scottish disc-end spoon sold at Lyon & Turnbull for £21,000.
Although coming out of a recent ‘Scottish collection’ according to the article, just previous to that it came through a local New Zealand auction house in May 2020 (Dunbar Sloane). One wonders how it ended up all the way over there.
