This Bamburgh Castle railway poster he designed for the LNER combines the landscape and ladies, although they are a bit more covered up in a style suitable for the Northumbrian coast.
The 3ft 4in x 4ft 2in (1.02 x 1.27m) original poster was printed by The Avenue Press. It is estimated at £5500-6000 in Onslows’ Winter Auction of Travel and Vintage Posters on November 26.
