“The moving of the marquee and increasing its size to a larger area in the grounds of Burton Court allows us to run the fair in compliance with all the Covid-19 guidelines.”

Julia Brisbane (quoted above) will run her Antiques in Tents event on Saturday and Sunday, October 17- 18 at Burton Court, a manor house near Leominster in Herefordshire.

Dealer Robert Pugh, who is also organiser of Towy Events’ antiques fleamarkets at the United Counties Showground in Carmarthen – not currently running – will be bringing Welsh pieces to 'Antiques in Tents' at Burton Court on October 17-18. They include this mid-19th century oil on canvas of Penarth Head from Cardiff priced at £2000.

There will be 40 dealers including Robert Pugh Antiques, Fontaine Decorative and John Read Smith, as well as new exhibitors Not Wanted on Voyage with unusual furniture and art and Penny Sutherland with painted furniture and shellwork.
