The Dr Who artwork, which sold for £2150, was produced by Gerry Haylock for TV Action Comic No 60 in 1972, when Jon Pertwee was playing the Doctor in the BBC TV series.
Sold at £2100, the other illustration presents a signed, promotional artwork of 1993 by Joe Quesada that features Ninjak, a character created for Valiant Comics.
Other stand-out lots included, at £2450, an ink artwork of 1963 by Jack Kirby for what was only the second issue of Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos, a Marvel comic created by Kirby and Stan Lee that ran until 1981.
