The Cockermouth auction house reported over 1000 people registering to bid online and all seven works by Kelly sold for a combined £10,520, with over half exceeding their estimates.
Leading the group was a watercolour titled Village Backs. Measuring 9 x 12¼in (23 x 31cm), it overshot a £1500-2000 estimate, selling at £3000 on thesaleroom.com.
An ink and wash titled Black Cloud above Allonby made £2000, while a less typical pastel of trawlers in a harbour in Cornwall sold for £1500.
The sale took place on March 18-20.
