Organiser Hugh Rayner, a Bath antiquarian book dealer, said: “Although our first fair in December went very well, I just didn’t have quite enough exhibitors to justify holding the April fair. But there has been much more enthusiasm for our autumn vintage photograph fair which will run on Sunday, November 1, at the same venue.”
Rayner added: “Vintage photography is such a specialised field, and as there is only a very small pool of photograph dealers in the UK, it is hard finding enough exhibitors to commit to these specialist events. Being way out in the wild west of England seems to be an added barrier.”
