The show focuses on the bronze works that made the Welsh artist famous: sculptural depiction of hares in various dynamic postures.

The show runs from March 4-April 18 at the Cork Street gallery, which brings a further selection of the sculptor’s work to TEFAF Maastricht.

Flanagan started focusing on bronze as his primary medium in 1979, producing his work at east London’s AB Fine Art Foundry (now used by artists such as Anthony Gormley). Waddington Custot had its solo exhibition of the artist in 1980.

Works are shown together to reflect what Flanagan described as “the theatre of the group”.
