Pre-booked stall rents are set at £25 and the first Racecourse Tuesday takes place on January 28.

The organiser already runs biannual two-day weekend fairs at the site – launched in 2017 – but the new Tuesday events will be held five times annually.

Alan Cartwright of Jaguar said: “There are a lot of trade buyers in the area prior to Newark and Lincoln so our Racecourse Tuesday fairs are set to run on the Tuesday prior to IACF Newark and Swallow at Lincoln.”

In March and April for example, buyers have four solid days on the antiques hunt including Jaguar Fairs at Nottingham on March 31 and Swallow at Lincoln on Wednesday, April 1 finishing off on Thursday and Friday, April 2-3, at IACF Newark.

Alan and Lynn Cartwright launched their first fair at the University of Derby in 1995 which was their mainstay event for the next 14 years. Since then they have organised events at a number of other venues including RAF Oakington near Cambridge, the University of Nottingham and Kedleston Hall, near Derby.

For the past 21 years Jaguar’s very popular antiques and vintage fair at Wetherby Racecourse in West Yorkshire has drawn large crowds and the current calendar also includes the Cartwrights’ fair in their home town, at the Derby Conference Centre.

Alan added: “Our success over the past 25 years has grown from the support of our customers, some of whom exhibited with us 25 years ago at Derby University and are still stalling out with us today.”
