Guests of honour at Worplesdon will be Bob and Joy Butler who have managed the society’s secretarial functions since 2006. Future matches this year will take place at The Berkshire, Moor Park, Swinley Forest, North Hants and Woking Golf Clubs as well as a trip to Scotland’s East Lothian golf coast in October.
The society has been playing since the 1920s when it started as the British Antique Dealers’ Association Golf Society. It currently has around 60 active members, most of whom have close links to the UK art and antiques trade.
The new secretary, Simon Berti (formerly of ATG), is keen to hear from dealers and auctioneers who would like to join the society and play regular golf with their peers. Full details can be found on the website below.
