The 6½in (17cm) tall example offered at Glasgow on January 30 was etched R.Lalique, France, and numbered 934 to the base, which would indicate an inter-war or immediately post-war date.
Against a £1000-2000 estimate it sold to a bidder from the south of England at £5500.
