Woodlite headlamps – £1600 at Toovey’s.
In practice, they were inferior to many other factory headlamps. However, they were certainly stylish and for that reason alone Woodlites graced some of the most glamorous American cars of the 1930s.
The Art Deco styling continues to impress today’s classic car owners. Estimated at £80-120, this pair of Woodlite chromium plated headlamps sold for £1600 at Toovey’s (24.5% buyer’s premium) in Washington, West Sussex, on January 24.
