Among the almost 30 examples being sold at the Design auction at Phillips in New York is this large 2ft 2in (66cm) high example of a stoneware vase by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat from c.1895 covered in his trademark 'Dalpayrat Red' sang de boeuf glaze.
The vase, which is incised Dalpayrat to the underside, has an estimate of $18,000-24,000.
