Mike was with us from the very inception of the auction rooms back in 2012, right up until earlier this year, when he planned to move away to Devon with his wife, Trish.
A constant figure in the auction rooms, be it behind the jewellery counter on viewing day, packing parcels, or helping customers load their cars, he was a real character, always had a smile on his face and would be sure to fill us all in on the latest trade-related gossip.
Prior to working with us, Mike ran for many years a popular antiques shop in Green Park Station, Bath.
He was well known in the trade and everyone – staff and customers alike – would always enjoy talking to him. Mike will be greatly missed by all of us at East Bristol Auctions.
