Antiques Anonymous was launched by the Alfie’s Antiques arcade and other Church Street traders to make more shoppers aware of what the Marylebone street has to offer.
The event on September 22 hosts around 100 antique, vintage and craft stalls and shops as well as street food and music. Traders confirmed for this month include vintage clothing and jewellery business Samaya Ling, 20th-century focused Diagonal Furniture and vintage upholstery boutique Opificium.
Antiques Anonymous, funded by Church Street Regeneration Programme, a Westminster Council project, has previously attracted 10,000 visitors.
Robert Rigby, Westminster City Council deputy cabinet member for finance, property and regeneration, said: “We are supporting it because it is delivering exactly what we are working with the community to achieve in the area – a boost to the local economy.”
