B2B Events’ next flea and collectors’ fair, known as the Malvern Flea, is all set to be a packed event with more than 300 pre-booked inside stands and hundreds more expected outside if the rains keep off.

It will be held at the scenic Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire, on Sunday, October 13.

Helen Yourston, B2B’s director, said: “We’re expecting a good turn-out with more than the stands in two fully booked halls – we are hoping the weather will hold in order to bring even more exhibitors outside.

“The event promises be to the usual extensive mix of stalls providing visitors with the eclectic offering that is synonymous with the Malvern Flea.”

Outside pitch

Frenchman Thibaut Bizeul of Kingsbridge Antiques and Interiors in Matlock, Derbyshire, has been standing at the Malvern Flea for a couple of years and will be one of the dealers exhibiting there in October in a large outside pitch.

He also stands at a number of other fairs including IACF Ardingly, the biannual Peterborough Festival of Antiques and the antiques markets at Kempton Park and Sandown Park racecourses.

Bizeul sells French decorative pieces mostly sourced from France, with some in the UK, and his Instagram page shows some rather desirable pieces including statuary, French doors and signs and art.

Prices start at around £350 for antique chests of drawers and between £120-180 for paintings.

Coming up

The next IACF Ardingly is on Tuesday November 5 and Wednesday November 6.

Sunbury Antiques’ forthcoming market at Kempton Park is on Tuesday, October 29, and at Sandown Park on Tuesday, December 3.
