Originally from London and then the Bath area, dealers Annette and Martin Dunster moved to Cornwall 15 years ago, opening an antiques centre at a former boatyard in the medieval town of Lostwithiel in south-east Cornwall on the River Fowey.

Annette said: “We felt we wanted to diversify and move away from the more traditional brown furniture and into more contemporary design classics. Our premises used to house a boatyard which has now relocated and the site is ideal to display our big garden section as well as architectural antiques.”

The town boasts six businesses selling antiques and related items as well as the Lostwithiel Antiques Centre. These include Stephen Foy Antiques, Déja Vu Antiques and Atticus & Willow.
