This 15th century bronze harness pendant and suspender-bar is cast in high relief with a boar’s head, a crescent and a radiant star: all three badges of the last Plantagenet king, Richard III (1452-85).
Found east of Bosworth field in the 1980s, it perhaps formed part of the heraldic display of the king’s entourage as they took to the field against the forces of Henry Tudor on August 22, 1485.
It comes for sale at TimeLine Auctions in London on November 26 from a West Yorkshire collector with an estimate of £600-800.

This three-panel work depicting figures and the Tamar Bridge by the Plymouth artist Derek Holland (1927-2014) was included in a 1962 Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition titled Mural Painting Today.
The bridge was officially opened by The Queen Mother that year with this monumental work a celebration of the post-war reconstruction of the south coast. Each panel measures 6 x 4ft (1.83 x 1.22m) with faded VA paper labels still on the back.
Plymouth Auction Rooms has guided this recently rediscovered work at £600-800 on November 27.
