This commanding 18th century mansion set in 180 acres of parkland designed by ‘Capability Brown’ was the former family home of the Earls of Dudley and is now a wedding and events venue.

Which is where fair organisers Victoria and Paul Rowson come in.

Trading as Antiques at Bantock, they held their first bi-monthly antiques fair at Himley Hall in July. The next is on Sunday, November 24.

Paul said: “We’ve been staging monthly antiques and collectors’ fairs a few miles down the road at the Bantock House Museum in Wolverhampton for five years and always have a waiting list so Himley Hall was ideal. We have expanded into further rooms in the hall and out into the courtyard to accommodate the 50-plus dealers.

“These fairs are proving so popular we have booked dates throughout next year and are looking at further expansion into the grounds.”
