The vendor has since found another 14 similar genre scenes by the artist in the attic that will be offered in West Norwood on May 21 with an estimate of £10,000-15,000.

Painting in the late 19th and early 20th century, Kisan focused on scenes of everyday life in Korea including its many rites, crafts and customs. His works were primarily acquired in port areas such as Pusan and Wonsan as souvenirs by Western travellers.
