This change is due to a family bereavement. Emma said: “We are delighted to be taking over this wonderful fair, albeit in such sad circumstances. We hope to put our own stamp on the fair without compromising the integrity and excellent reputation built up by Amulet Fairs over many years.’’
Held in three exhibition halls and with unlimited outdoor space, the first Oswestry Showground Antique and Collectors’ Fair under the new management will run on Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9, with three subsequent dates this year. This is a busy fair with around 200 dealers standing at each event.
Trading for five years as the Shrewsbury Flea, the Joneses run six two-day fleamarkets annually at the West Midlands Showground near Shrewsbury with around 100-140 standholders. The first date this year is Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24.
