The dealership relocated from 43 Pimlico Road to Arch 702, Havelock Terrace, Battersea on June 1.
David Humphrey said: “With a heavy heart, the time has come for us to leave the Pimlico Road… A great shame after a quarter of a century here, but after years of fighting, the Grosvenor redevelopment has been confirmed.”
After a long-running planning battle, property group Grosvenor obtained permission to redevelop Newson’s Timber Yard, run by builders’ merchant Travis Perkins, which is behind Pimlico Road.
Humphrey-Carrasco was one of the businesses that had to move to accommodate the scheme.
David Humphrey and Marylise Carrasco established Humphrey-Carrasco in the late 1980s with a gallery on the Kings Road. In 1994 it moved to Pimlico Road. Alongside antiques, it sells a collection of English handmade furniture and lighting and also runs an in-house restoration and upholstery workshop.
It recently launched a new website: humphreycarrasco.com
