September 10-28
The Carré Rive Gauche, the grouping of Left Bank antiques dealers that populate a network of streets in the 6th and 7th arrondissements, will be active in September promoting the eclectic mix of works on offer this area. It holds its Mois des Collectionneurs from September 10-28 with galleries showcasing their specialities via a focus on one particular object that sums up their stock. The month kicks off with a late-night opening on September 10.
September 10-17
The opening night of the Carré’s collector’s month is timed to coincide with the start of the Parcours de la Céramique, a gallery-based event for the ceramics dealers in the area which has been running for many years. This year’s edition, the 12th, takes place from September 10-17 and features a mix of specialists in European and Asian ceramics. An accompanying lecture programme will be held.
September 14-19
The Drouot auction centre will present Oeuvres Choisies, a pre-season exhibition of selected works coming up for sale over the late summer autumn season.
September 25-29
For the second year running the Drouot auction centre will be hosting District 13, a fair dedicated to urban art. The event ends with an auction held by Drouot Estimations on September 29.
