“I am often asked for advice on starting a collection,” Kehoe says. In her area, as in so many others, the guidance is to find one perfect piece rather than spending on a number of lower-quality items. Collectors in her area, she adds, might look out for works by artists such as Gallé, Daum, Loetz, Moser and Lalique.
Cooper Events holds three fairs at the Pavilions venue this year (the others are in May and November).
