A 1970s Westerwald pottery figure of a fish was decorated in the studios of Elfried Balzar-Kopp with cobalt and traditional salt-glaze and enamels. Signed BK to the base, it is 10.2in (26cm) wide and 15.3in (39cm) high. It was sold by Michael Lines of John Newton Antiques (see picture top).
