This Regency games table, c.1815, is on offer for £2950 from WR Harvey.
It features a central panel that transforms into a chessboard. There are also cribbage and backgammon boards. Constructed in English rosewood, it is offered for £2950.
This is Harvey’s first time at the Hampshire event, which runs from September 6-8 and is now in its 46th year.
It hosts 40 dealers offering a range of antiques from around £25- 25,000 in Petersfield’s Festival Hall. Although there are no datelines, the exhibits are fully vetted.
Among those standing are Michael St John with traditional English watercolours and pottery, porcelain specialist Jupiter Antiques and Hickmet Fine Arts bringing Art Nouveau and Art Deco bronzes and glass.
Run by Penman Fairs since 1997, the event takes place twice a year.
