A Rolex Submariner worn by Timothy Dalton’s stunt double during the making of Bond film Licence to Kill is going under the hammer at Fellows of Birmingham on October 30.

The timepiece, reference number 5513, is estimated at £60,000-90,000.

The Rolex features in a car chase scene from the 1989 film where 007 drives a tanker truck in Mexico. The watch was damaged during the stunt and later repaired by Rolex free of charge.

It comes with photos of the crew on set in Mexico, as well as paperwork from Rolex, a book detailing the making of the movie, a soundtrack album and a certificate of authenticity from film maker EON Productions.
