Each with radiating fluted hinged tops with flowerhead finials, they were attributed to Gillows and estimated at £2000-4000.
Illustrated above, the slightly smaller one at 22½in (57cm) tall had a lead lining and sold at £5000. The other, with a toleware liner, went at £4000.
