The specialist fair for mid-century modern is Modern Shows, whose organisers run two regular fairs in London.
The next one is at Dulwich College on Sunday, March 18.
Meanwhile, just published is Mid-Century Modern: Living with mid-century modern design, written by the doyenne of the antiques publishing book world, Judith Miller.
The book explores the most desirable furniture, ceramics, glass, metalware and textiles produced from the late 1940s to the early ’70s, with current price codes and profiles of the most influential designers of the period including textiles designer Lucienne Day and furniture design icon Alvar Aalto.
Mid-Century Modern… is published by Mitchell Beazley, hardback, ISBN 9781784723750, priced at £30.
