A clutch of military brooches created for the RAF and other British forces will be included in a sale of jewellery, silver, coins and medals at Dreweatts in Donnington Priory, Newbury, on January 16.
The eight lots from various owners will include a Royal Tank Regiment diamond sweetheart brooch, featuring a rose-cut diamond-set early tank within a wreath and a blue enamelled banner inscribed Fear Naught.
With 9ct gold hallmarks for Birmingham 1955, it is guided at £150-250.

A collection of antique maps assembled over a lifetime will be among the first lots of the year to go under the hammer at Charterhouse in Sherborne, Dorset.
The group, which will be offered on January 17-18, features maps from across the world and were inherited by the vendor after the collector died. Some of the earliest date from the 17th century and run on through to the late 19th century. A few examples have been tinted in watercolour, while others survive in their original state.
Estimates in the collection start at £50 and will include this late 17th century London to Weymouth road map above by the Scottish cartographer John Ogilby, who is best known for publishing the first British road atlas. Estimate £100-150.
