
Milne was encouraged to paint by his father, a Scottish landscape artist, and later drew inspiration from the Scottish Colourists and modern French painters. He fought in France on the Western Front during the First World War and stayed the for long periods from 1919-32.
The show, which continues until January 6, also includes works by Barbara Hepworth, Terry Frost and Edward Hornel. Emerging and established contemporary artists are also available.
