Antiques and collectors' fair at Ludlow Castle
Beverley and Graham Innes, as Century Fairs, run a small antiques and collectors’ fair every two months held in the medieval setting of Ludlow Castle.
This is found in the architectural gem that is the market town of Ludlow near Shrewsbury.
Graham said of the event, with its next outing on Saturday, December 8: “It’s a lovely venue within the castle and Ludlow is absolutely packed with visitors and locals every Saturday.”

Vintage fair in Hampstead
Maxine Stonehill launched the first of her Pop-Up Vintage Fairs in 2011 at the decommissioned St Stephen’s Church, Rosslyn Hill, in Hampstead, north London.

Her fairs are still going strong there, with the next on Sunday, December 9.
Up to 50 exhibitors will be selling vintage across the board as well as some antiques.
Built in 1870 in the neo-Gothic style by church architect Samuel Teulon, who called it “my mighty church”, the building of St Stephen’s over-ran its budget by £20,000 and was continually prone to subsidence due its hilly site.
Antiques fair at Hodson Hall
On Sunday, December 9, Guildhall Fairs will be at Hodson Hall at Loughborough Grammar School in Leicestershire, an independent school for boys founded in 1495 by Thomas Burton.
Organiser Gary Halford said of the venue: “Hodson Hall is a beautiful setting for an antiques fair. The maple tree-lined avenue is stunning and directly outside the venue is the huge bell tower which chimes on the half hour. It just gives you the feeling of being somewhere special.”
