This Victorian gilt-metal tea caddy has four small Scottish agate cabochons around the sunken agate-decorated knob, and a large agate stone cabochon framed with an engraved sunburst pattern on each side of the caddy. These extra attractions on Saturday and Sunday, August 25-26, include a classic vehicle auction and rally, artisan food stands, a gin and prosecco bar and kids’ activities.

Organiser Alex Robins said: “We have been running this fair for 10 years and we now try to position it as a family event. As well as the lure of antiques for many of our visitors, now that this is a much bigger fair than when we started, we aim to offer a bit more to broaden its reach.”

Plenty is also on offer to lure the antiques buyer here by the sound of it, including furniture, architectural salvage, decorative pieces, jewellery, silver and vintage.
