
Most of the material on offer is Wedgwood’s famous Jasperware and dates from the late 19th and 20th centuries in the form of jugs and other vessels, small boxes or even smaller items such as jewellery and cameos.
One exception is this 13in (33cm) diameter bowl, above, an example of the firm’s Fairyland Lustre range created in the interwar period by Daisy Makeig-Jones and much collected these days.
The bowl is decorated with the Gondola Fairy and the Hummingbird patterns and carries an estimate of $3000-5000.
