This carbon print from the MacMahon photographic studio of Aberdeen sold for £1800 at Bonhams.
The caption on the mount is also printed in Spanish, for these great fish – average weight 77lb – were destined for export to Spain and the photograph may have been intended for display by the Spanish importer.
It sold for £1800 at Bonhams on March 21.
