Hugely successful, her illustrations were reproduced in books, adverts, as well as on toys and Shelley porcelain.
Offered on July 25, in one of the regular ‘Homes & Interiors’ sales at Bonhams (25/20/12% buyer’s premium), a group 16 Atwell watercolours all found buyers and raised £22,800.
The most expensive, at £3400, was titled Just tired I specs.
