Blue and white porcelain brush pot sold at Thomas Watson’s sale for £6500.
The 8½in (21.5cm) tall pot, decorated with figures in a landscape between borders of sgraffito in the painterly Transitional style, was undated in the catalogue but probably late 17th century. Estimated at £500-£700, it sold at £6500.
