Rob Jones, who was previously with Bonhams, and Sarah McLean (ex-Paddle8) have joined the existing department led by Alexander Hayter, bringing the number of print specialists working in Battersea to four.
The department will hold the firm’s first sale in New York next month, offering close to 50 works by Banksy whose US profile has been raised significantly since the Better Out Than In project in 2013.
The December 12 Banksy NYC sale, held at 26 E 64th Street, Manhattan, in the wake of Art Basel Miami, includes both standard Banksy prints and a number of artist proofs.
